We are continuing to develop Next XI and aim to align the public website and core Scout Workspace experiences with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable.
Using Next XI
We aim to support users by providing:
- clear page structure and headings;
- keyboard-accessible navigation and interactive controls;
- sufficient colour contrast for important text and controls;
- responsive layouts that work across desktop, tablet and mobile devices;
- text alternatives for meaningful images where appropriate;
- form labels and instructions that can be understood by assistive technologies; and
- content that can be zoomed without unnecessary loss of information or functionality.
Known limitations
Next XI includes complex football visualisations, charts, squad maps and data-rich interfaces. Some of these components may present accessibility challenges, particularly where information is naturally visual. We aim to provide equivalent textual information or alternative views where practical and will continue improving these areas as the platform develops.
Third-party content, embedded services or external websites linked from Next XI may not meet the same accessibility standards and are outside our direct control.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is considered as new Next XI functionality is designed and released. We intend to review key journeys, including player discovery, player profiles, Insights and Scout Workspace workflows, as the service matures.
Feedback and accessibility problems
If you experience an accessibility problem or need information from Next XI in a different format, please contact Next XI Football using the contact details available on this website. It is helpful if you include the page or feature involved and a short description of the difficulty you experienced.
Statement review
This statement will be reviewed as the Next XI platform and its accessibility testing programme develop.
